A trip to central Skopje takes approx. 30 minutes and cost MKD 700 - 1100 (Macedonian Denar). Generally, taxis charge MKD 20/km. It is recommended to use licensed vehicles only. Look for the four digit phone number on the vehicle. Make sure the driver is using the taximeter. The best option is to phone for a taxi as the fare is much lower.
