‘Schiphol’ train station is located directly underneath the airport.
Trains depart every 10 - 15 minutes during the day to Amsterdam Central Station. Travel time is approx. 20 minutes. Ticket fare: 2nd class: € 3,80/one way, € 6,40/return same day, 1st class: € 6,40/one way, € 10,90/return same day.

Between 0100 - 0500 night trains run once an hour to and from the airport. Route: Utrecht CS - Amsterdam CS - Schiphol - Leiden CS - The Hague CS - Delft
and Rotterdam CS.

Several bus lines connect Schiphol Airport with Amsterdam and its surroundings.

Bus 370: Alphen a/d Rijn Station - Schiphol Plaza - Amsterdam Marnixstraat. Departures from Schiphol Plaza every 30 - 60 minutes mon - fri 0544 - 2341, every hour Saturday 0833 - 2346, Sunday 0902- 2347.
Bus 192: Schiphol Zuid - Station Sloterdijk. Departures every 15 - 30 minutes, mon - fri 0533 - 0027. Sat - sun 0557 - 0027.
Bus 195: Schiphol Zuid - Station Lelylaan. Departures every 15 - 30 minutes, mon -fri 0549 - 0109, every 30 - 60 minutes sat - sun 0549 - 0109.
Bus 199: Schiphol Zuid - Amsterdam Station Zuid. Departures every 15 - 30 minutes, mon - fri 0519 - 0026, every 30 minutes sat - sun 0550 - 0025.
Bus 300: Amsterdam Bijlmer Arena - Schiphol Plaza - Haarlem Station NS.
Departures from Schiphol Plaza every 10 minutes, mon - fri 0526 - 0107, Saturday 0525 - 0107, Sunday 0522 - 0107.
Night bus 358: Schiphol Plaza - Centraal Station.
Departures
mon - thu at 0106, 0206, 0306, 0406 and 0506. Fri - sun at 0031, then every half hour until 0501.
